1. Now that the Lion King has left the Hippodrome, there will be some different shows on between now and Christmas. On Friday evening it's Motown's Greatest Hits: How Sweet it is – tickets are between �18.50 and �20.50.
2. Grammy nominee Rufus Wainwright will be on stage at Colston Hall on Friday night at 7pm.
3. Take part in an historic walk from M shedto Victoria Park on Wednesday from 10.30am-12.30pm. There is a �2 suggested donation. Call 0117 352 6600 to book. 5. At the Alma Tavern theatre you can watch Cake on any evening from Tuesday to Saturday. Sophie and Jack have parted ways after twenty years of marital warfare. Now they find themselves forced back together in the home they dreamt up and destroyed. Back in their familiar battleground, they must both try to get along, or they could lose the one thing neither of them can do without. Tickets �7-9.
