Public comment period opens for import of wild-caught belugas
On June 15, the Georgia Aquarium applied to the NOAA for a permit to import 18 wild-caught belugas from Russia. File No. 17324 has now been opened up to public comment in the Federal Register. It will become one of the most contested permits ever.
